About

About WolfWork labs:

WolfWork Labs was named for a dream about two wolves — one tied to me, and one to my sister. I think it's a fitting symbol: an animal that is feared, but that actually carries a fierce loyalty and, in its predatory ways, is only doing what is natural to it.

It sounds a lot like the humans I know. All stories of peace speak to my heart these days, but it wasn't always like that. Building the inner strength to tolerate the strong emotions that, in a different time, would have led to destruction has convinced me that the emotion is not the problem. The emotion is the teacher, and we have to find ways to stay awake to be part of the conversation.

WolfWork Labs hopes to build tools to hold scaffolding while we work to look within. It's hard until it's not. Then it's sacred.

About N1a:

I have deep regard for the internet and all it has to offer, while remaining wary of the creeping totalitarianism embedded in so many of its systems.

I believe the planet is asking something of us in this time of reckoning and inner–outer change. Through my projects and collaborations, I hope the creative spaces between people can reverberate into new realities — ones more alive, humane, and free than the world we’re living in now.
